I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location in the heart of Soho was absolutely fantastic, but the room was quite cramped and the shared facilities left much to be desired. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my stay a bit better. Overall, I think there are better hostels for the price I paid. 😕
Rooms

My double room was small, only fitting the bed and basin, which made it hard to move around, especially with two large suitcases. The mattress and pillows were quite thin, and I could hear people coming and going at night.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I arrived early in the morning. They made the check-in process smooth and were always on hand to assist.
Location
8.0
The location is superb, right near Oxford Street and close to many restaurants, bars, and the tube, making it easy to explore London.
Dining
6.0
I didn’t really experience the dining options much, but it seemed that basic provisions were included, which is always a plus.
Facilities
5.0
The shared showers and toilets were poorly designed. Some were too small or had issues with cleanliness. I found mould in one shower, and there was minimal ventilation, leading to a damp atmosphere.

I had a great time staying at Sohostel. It's in a fantastic location, right in the heart of Soho, making it easy to explore various tourist attractions and grab food at nearby restaurants. While the dorm I stayed in was decent for a good night's sleep, I would have loved to have individual plugs for charging my devices. The vibrant bar and restaurant, with its lively atmosphere and friendly staff, truly made my experience special.
Rooms
8.0
I stayed in a 6-bed dorm that was quite comfortable, but a bit more personalization like plugs by each bed would enhance the experience.
Service

The staff members were incredibly kind and helpful, with a special shoutout to David, Desmond for the amazing food, Jake, Val, Mike, and Christina for making my stay nice.
Location
10.0
Sohostel is perfectly situated in the center of everything, close to Oxford Street and within walking distance of popular attractions.
Dining

The bar and restaurant served delicious food at very reasonable prices, especially the homemade pies and jams.
Facilities

The common areas and bathrooms were clean, and the hostel came with nice amenities, but there could be improvements like additional outlets in the dorm.

I had a pleasant stay at Sohostel. it's a modern, clean hostel right in the heart of Soho, close to all the action. The breakfast was fantastic, one of the best I've had at a hostel. However, I did experience some noise issues and found the front desk staff to be a bit unorganized.

My private twin room was basic but clean and surprisingly spacious. it had a high-power fan which was a lifesaver during the heat. The mattresses were comfortable, although I could hear the fire door closing often, so earplugs were a good idea.
Service
6.0
I found the service at the front desk to be a bit lacking. the staff seemed annoyed rather than friendly, and it felt very unorganized. I encountered long waits during check-in, which was frustrating.

The location is unbeatable. I was just off Oxford Street, surrounded by shops, pubs, and restaurants, making it easy to explore Soho and even walk to the theatre district.

The breakfast included was one of the highlights. offering a great variety that you don't often find at hostels. I didn't try the bar, but it seemed like a fun place to socialize.

I appreciated the clean bathrooms and plenty of power outlets. the lobby was convenient for storing my bags upon arrival. However, I didn't get to enjoy the common area much.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Sohostel. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of Soho, making it easy to get around and enjoy the vibrant nightlife. The staff were great, always friendly and helpful. However, the room was poorly designed, with a musty smell and inadequate ventilation. Plus, the noise from other guests in the morning was quite disturbing. Overall, it was a decent experience but left much to be desired. 😕🥴

The room I stayed in had serious ventilation issues, with moisture condensing on the walls. There were also stains on the sheets and a moldy smell. It felt uninviting, and I was nervous about leaving my things there.

I appreciated that breakfast was included, providing decent options to start the day. However, the bar area felt uninviting.

Facilities included a shared bathroom that was clean, but I would have preferred more than one shower and toilet per floor.

My stay at Sohostel had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Soho, making it easy to access pretty much everything. However, the room was small and the mattress felt more like a camping mat, which made it pretty uncomfortable. Plus, I had a rough time with noise from other guests and the ventilation in the room was lacking.
Rooms

The room was small, older with poor ventilation, and the mattress was quite uncomfortable. Thin walls made it hard to sleep well.
Service

Most staff were fine, but one guy was really rude and threatened to kick me out for something minor.
Location

Can't argue with this location! It's right in the heart of Soho, super accessible to major attractions.
Dining

I noticed they offered some Dutch products, but the dining options weren't impressive.

The hostel itself had some decent facilities, but the area I stayed in needed improvements, and it definitely wasn’t prepared for a hot summer.
